I just got an iPad Air where I was told “It’s Just Fried”. It is possible that it was dropped but I was told that it randomly happened.
After a few minutes of playing with it, I was able to get it into DFU mode. As it stands, there is no video whatsoever coming to the screen and the only way it interacts with iTunes is in DFU mode. I tried doing a restore in iTunes and got the error 4005 which from Googling looks to be battery or charging port issue. Any ideas what the problem is here and is it even worth fixing?
