Bottom panel of case bulging out

I was working on my macbook and suddenly I heard a pop. When I looked at my macbook, i saw that at the side, the bottom panel was bulging out. The screw are still holding it together though.  See the image below. I tried pushing it back but it just popped out again after a couple of minutes.[br]

So I’ve got a couple of questions

* What are possible causes for this?
* Can I continue using the macbook untill it’s fixed?
