Are you talking about the ASSEMBLY with the panel or the GLASS ONLY part? Glass only is just about impossible for inexperienced end users - even I have trouble with it and I’m no stranger to a difficult repair like that. The edge screen phones are well beyond my ability. Don’t bold your breath about being able to pull it off - a lot of people who have seen us seasoned pros manage it think they can do it when it’s a art and then some. I know how on the thoroughly obsolete phones like the S3/Note 2, but the Edge phones are still a work in progress for me.

The edge screen phones are well beyond my ability to pull off. '''If you bought the glass only part without a panel, don’t try unless you’re 110% comfortable with it - it is an art.''' I know how to do it on the thoroughly obsolete phones (S3/Note 2 age) but not Edge screen phones - I still need to learn how.
If you’re talking about the bare screen without a frame, [guide|116670|this guide] covers the job.

Are you talking about the ASSEMBLY with the panel or the GLASS ONLY part? Glass only is just about impossible for inexperienced end users - even I have trouble with it and I’m no stranger to a difficult repair and I took a second attempt at it on a junker S6 Edge+ assembly to try and nail the procedure since perfect screens cost way too much. Don’t bold your breath about being able to pull it off.

Ultimately yeah… Buy a minor defect screen at a discount (but be warned a lot of these come from China) or a used phone if you don’t want to live with it or the panel is damaged.
