Try restarting the P ram! To do this, you need to turn the computer off. Turn on and immediately press "Command, Option, P, R". Locate these before you restart the computer, because they need to be pressed before the computer makes the "chime" sound. Press and hold these buttons until the computer "chimes" 5 times.
