@philip_j_fry what you have not told us is f your computer is actually charging the battery with the new DC-in jack. you want to double check your repair. Check your battery or replaced your battery and see what you got. If your computer does not get proper power and does not charge the battery you can get this error. You can also try and give us all the numbers of your motherboard so we can check if somebody has the schematics for that board.
