Chrysler 2.4 crankshaft position sensor is in lower engine block, behind the engine (engine side facing the vehicle's firewall) look above the oil filter adapter from under car. Crank sensor held/secured by a bolt, remove bolt and sensor will come out with a little pull/twist force. Links below show the location and how to test crank sensor. Good luck.
