Worked for same problem with Moto G 3 (2015). A slight twist to the phone corrected the problem, and then I tightened the few hex screws on the back, just for the !&&* of it (probably not enough to make any difference). Not very reassuring, however. Makes you wonder how many other connections critical to other functions on the phone could give way just as easily. Also makes me suspicious that many other phones, even expensive ones, incorporate similar cost-cutting hardware compromises.
