How to make a flat sound profile into a tuned profile?

I want to buy BeoPlay H8 on-ear headphones, but before I buy them I want to know if its possible to change the fact that the sound profile is flat. The H8 is better suited for classical music, is there a way to emphasise different frequencies e.g. increasing bass?
