Does the speaker wire need to be soldered

I have a Ipad 2 that the sound stop working and upon closer examination I noticed that the wire connector that the speaker plugs into has separated from its base, does that need to be soldered back together? If I am correct,

Can you recommend anyone i can get to do this task?
