I just wanted to say thank you. I thought it was me. It ends up I had received a bum screen. Nothing worked, it wouldn't reset, it glowed a little, but that was it, I almost gave up hope, thinking that I had fried it, but i kept trying things and it did respond to iTunes! I followed the above advice, hooked up one of my broken but functional screens. It came on white but with the home button, the up volume button and the sleep wake button all held, it DID reset . So this new screen is going back. Thanks to all! Happy Fixing!
