Hi ayma,
If I were you, I would completely disassemble the phone, using [guide|9413|this video] or [guide|9391|the teardown guide].
Fortunately, your phone still works. However, if there are any water drops left in the phone, corrosion might occur in the near future. The worst case scenario would be if corrosion leads to short circuits.
So, I would disassemble the complete phone. Then I would remove any cable or attached part (e.g. camera) from the motherboard and put the motherboard into a bath of iso-prophylalcohol. Let it stay in there for about 10 minutes before you take it out and let it dry for a day, possibly next to an air conditioning. Let every other piece also dry next to the air conditioning. Now assemble everything back together.
I know this might be a lot of work. But it pays of on the long run. If your battery still works, I would not buy a new one.
