背景
Sega Dreamcastは1998年11月27日に日本で発売されました。その後、1999年後半に米国でも発売されました。Sega Dreamcastは初の商用128ビットゲームコンソールとしてライバル機よりも優れており、当時のどのゲームコンソールをも凌駕するグラフィック性能を備えていました。しかし、2001年には生産が終了しました。
DreamcastにはHKT-3000、HKT-3010、HKT-3020、HKT-3030の4つのバリエーションが製造されました。HKT-3010は日本で、HKT-3020は米国で、HKT-3030は欧州諸国で販売されました。また、ブラックカラーの特別モデルも存在します。
