Background
The Nikon D3200 is the third in Nikon's 3000 line-up. It was released in 2012. This DSLR camera has 24.2 megapixel capabilities and a CMOS image sensor. The ISO has a range of 100-6,400 but can be expanded up to 12,800. The 11-point autofocus can capture facial expressions on fast-moving subjects.
The Guide Mode enables the user to navigate through the settings to take great shots and has full manual capabilities. There are 6 preset shooting modes (portrait, landscape, close-up, and others) that help the user take the best shot. It has a 3.0'' LCD screen with precise Live View. It also has full 1080p HD video recording ability that allows for efficient editing on the spot. It has an EN-EL14 rechargeable Li-ion battery, a micro-USB port, an HDMI output, and an AV output.
Identification
You can identify your Nikon D3200 by the Nikon logo printed on the front of the camera above the lens. The model number D3200 is printed in white on the front right of the camera.
You can find the model and serial numbers printed on the bottom of the camera.
