How to replace just the back Heart Rate Sensor?

My Heart Rate sensor on the back of the Apple Watch 3 has failed. It is the only thing I need to replace to make the watch functional again.

Can I just replace the back Heart Rate sensor without taking apart the entire watch?

Unfortunately to remove the heart rate sensor the watch will have to be mostly disassembled. Most of the interior components need to be removed before the sensor can come out. The teardown shows how to disassemble it fully. Hope this helps!
