Screen failed shortly after replacement

I had a failed screen and replaced it with one I bought from iFixIt. It worked great for 24 hours and then failed again, just flickered and went dark. Cracked it back open and reseated all the connections, still no joy. Plugged it in to confirm it is booting up and I get the audible confirmation that it is plugged in.

@kuldaddy … thank you for your purchase and supporting diy. while it is possible that you may have received a defective part, this is rarely the case. typically, after installation of replacement parts, if new issues arise it is more than likely caused by the replacement process itself. however, with your case however, being that the device worked great a full day before going out again, i would say that there is something else going on with the motherboard and would need to be diagnosed before going through another screen. here is a guide to help with some retracing/troubleshooting, i would start here:
