Soldering Temperature for Charge Port Replacement

Anyone know the temperature I should use for soldering the charge port on the motherboard? I purchased a soldering iron and it has a temperature control. I do not want it to be to hot as it will damage other parts and the board itself, then if it is to cold the solder connection will not hold.

The temp dial goes from 200-450 °C

Thanks

300°-350°C.

If you are careful you won't damage other parts near the charging connector.

As you may already know it's recommended to solder with a microscope, flux to make soldering easier, wick to remove excess / old solder.

I personally use a rework hot air station to remove charging ports while insulating surrounding components.

Thank you very much. I do not have the equipment you do, but as long as I am careful I can get it. I have wick and other things. to remove the solder. Thank you again, I really appreciate it.

I was going to buy solder paste 138 ºC or 187 ºC for de-solder old port and re-solder the new one; which solder paste you recommend then?

Thanks in advance.
