Since having my reversing lights repaired at a garage, they come on occasionally when I break. Drivers behind me are worried! I can't recreate the fault when stationary tho. Help!

Hi,
If the work was carried out recently to repair the reversing lights by a garage, there should be some sort of guarantee on their workmanship, provided by them, even if it is only for 30 days etc.
Take the car back to them and explain the problem and show them as well (hopefully the problem will happen when you do this) and ask them to check it out, as it is causing problems for you..

does the reverse light work when you have it in reverse gear??

Yep, reverse light works when in reverse gear and I can see it when it's stationary
