The Huawei Honor 6x SIM Card Needs to be Replaced
If your phone is experiencing cellular network connection issues it is necessary to purchase a new sim card and replace the faulty SIM immediately. Be sure to replace the current SIM card with a standard sized nano-SIM card that is compatible with your cell carrier. The Huawei Honor 6x holds a 2-in-1 card slot that can be found on the upper left side of the phone. It is possible to insert two nano-SIM cards, or one nano-sim card with one microSD card.

The Huawei Honor 6x Is in an Area with Poor Connection
Relocate to an area with more reliable cell service.
The Huawei Honor 6x’s “Airplane Mode” Is Enabled
If Airplane Mode is enabled, there is no reception.
To disable Airplane mode, follow these steps:
Step one: Go to "Settings"
Step two: Locate the “Airplane Mode” tab
Step three: Tap to disable
The Huawei Honor 6x Requires a Restart
Restart your phone and check if the phone has connected to a cellular network. If your phone continues to have no reception after the restart, backup your data to an external storage device or try backing up your data to the cloud, and restore your phone to its factory settings. Restore or update your phone’s system to the latest version.
The Huawei Honor 6x Displays a “Storage Low” Notification
The phone has no space for additional data such as pictures or apps, and frequently displays a “Storage Low” notification.
The Huawei Honor 6x Is in Need of Additional Storage
The Huawei Honor 6x is equipped with a limited amount of internal storage, to increase the amount of storage on your device, purchase a microSD card. Any microSD card up to 128GB will work for this device. To install your new external storage follow the Huawei Honor 6x SIM Card Replacement and insert the microSD card alongside the SIM.
Tip: When shopping for a memory card consider the: class, X rating, storage, and size.
Follow these steps to backup files to your SD card:
Step one: Open "Backup" -> "Other methods" -> "SD card"
Step two: Select data you want to back up and touch "Next" -> "Back up"
The Huawei Honor 6x Should be Backed Up to an External Storage Device
Important data can be backed up using a USB OTG cable to a USB storage device i.e. flash drives, card readers, and devices with an SD card.
To backup important files and data to a storage device, follow these steps:
Step one: Open "Backup"
Step two: Select “USB storage” to backup your data.
Step three: Select the data you would like to have backed up (i.e. individual data files or the “Select all” option).
Step four: Touch “Backup,” and the capacity required for the backup will immediately be displayed. Follow onscreen instructions to set a password for data security.
The Huawei Honor 6x Has Files that Can be Saved to the Cloud
To backup your phone to the cloud, follow these steps:
Step one: Register your phone to a Huawei cloud account
Step two: Open "Backup"-> "Users & Accounts" -> "Cloud" -> "Cloud Backup"
Step three: Tap “Backup” and wait for data to be backed up. Be sure to be connected to a secure Wi-Fi network.
The Huawei Honor 6x Has Too Many Unneeded Applications Installed
It is wise to regularly uninstall apps that are not frequently used. Unused apps take up space on your device, and may be taking up more space than expected.
To eliminate unused apps, follow these steps:
Step one: Open "Settings"
Step two: Select "Storage cleaner" to enter the Cleanup screen and clean your memory, or select "Free Up Storage Space" with a single touch.
Tip: Be sure to delete the apps that use the majority of your phone’s memory
The Huawei Honor 6x Requires the Cache Files to be Deleted
Cache files are installed onto phones to speed up retrieval for the same data the next time the app is used. However, these files begin to take up the storage on your device, slowing down your phone.
To clear cache files from your device, follow these steps:
Step one: Go to "Settings" -> "Manage Apps" -> Select the “All” tab
Step two: Select applications with cached data you would like to delete, tap “Clear cache.”
Note: As opposed to manually deleting cache files, download the app Cache Cleaner.
The Huawei Honor 6x Is Not Charging
The Huawei Honor 6x is not charging when plugged in.
The Huawei Honor 6x Has a Poor Cable Connection
Check the connection points of the micro-usb cable and clean off any dirt by blowing gently. Disconnect the cable from both ends and reconnect both ends to ports. If the wall charger does not work, plug the USB connection into a computer.
The Huawei Honor 6x Has a Faulty Cable
Try charging the phone with a different, more reliable micro-usb cable. Check the reliability of the cable by plugging it into another phone, and making sure it charges that phone. If the cable works for another phone, the problem is in your phone.
The Huawei Honor 6x Has a Poor Battery Connection
Use the Battery Replacement Guide, following steps one through ten. Take out the battery and wipe off any metal connection points with a cotton swab or cloth. After wiping off the connection points, reconnect the battery and reassemble the device.

The Huawei Honor 6x's Battery Needs to be Replaced

The Huawei Honor 6x Has a Poor Battery Connection
If the battery drains faster than intended and you have a new and reliable battery, take out the battery using the Battery Replacement Guide, and wipe off any metal connection points with a cotton swab or cloth. After wiping off the connection points, reconnect the battery and reassemble.
The Huawei Honor 6x's Fingerprint Scanner Will Not Recognize Finger or Is Unresponsive
The fingerprint scanner will scan your finger but does not unlock the phone, or it is unresponsive when a finger is placed on it.
The Huawei Honor 6x Has a Dirty Scanner
If the scanner is dirty, it will not be able to scan your finger properly. Clean the scanner with a slightly dampened cotton swab using a window cleaner like Windex. Dry with a microfiber cloth.
Tip: Do not let the cleaner pool on the scanner.
The User's Fingerprint Has Changed
If you have cut your finger or done something that changes the look of your finger, you will need to unlock your phone with your pin, and re-enter your fingerprint in the security settings.
The Huawei Honor 6x Has a Cracked or Scratched Fingerprint Screen
If the scanner on the back is cracked or scratched, the fingerprint scanner will need to be replaced. Follow the Fingerprint Scanner Replacement Guide.
The Huawei Honor 6x's Fingerprint Scanner Is Broken
If the fingerprint scanner is unresponsive, the scanner is broken or disconnected. Follow the Fingerprint Scanner Replacement Guide.
The Huawei Honor 6x’s Camera Cracked, Unresponsive, or Blurry
The phone does not display an image at all or it displays a blurry, out of focus, and/or distorted image.
The Huawei Honor 6x's Camera Glass Is Cracked
If the glass of the rear camera is cracked, pictures will be blurry or out of focus. In this case, the back camera will need to be replaced. Follow the Rear Camera Replacement Guide to replace the rear camera of the phone. If the device has cracks on the front of the screen that affect the front camera image quality, follow the Front Display Panel Replacement Guide to replace the front screen and attached front camera.
The Components of the Huawei Honor 6x's Camera Assembly Are Broken
The problem may be attributed to the rear camera, front camera, or both. If the camera is unresponsive or does not display an image at all, the rear camera assembly may need to be replaced. If the front camera is affected, the front screen requires a replacement. Follow the Rear Camera Replacement Guide to replace the rear camera assembly. Follow the Front Display Panel Replacement Guide to replace the front screen.
The Huawei Honor 6x Display Is Cracked, Unresponsive, or Frozen
The glass screen is cracked or broken, not responding to touch, or displaying a distorted image.
The Huawei Honor 6x Front Glass Screen Is Cracked
If the screen is cracked because of an accidental fall or drop, the best solution is to replace the front screen. Refer to the Front Display Panel Replacement Guide.
The Huawei Honor 6x Screen Connection Is Interrupted
The screen is unresponsive because the screen is disconnected from the rest of the phone. This can be from an accidental fall/drop or a malfunction in the device itself. Refer to the Front Display Panel Replacement Guide and follow steps one through eighteen to detach and replace screen. Ensure all connection points between the front of phone and the back of phone are connected securely. Reassemble device by following the instructions in reverse order, turn on the device, and test the screen display. If the display is still not responsive, refer to the solution for replacing the screen below.
The Huawei Honor 6x LCD Is Broken
Behind the glass of touch screen phone is an LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) that projects the image onto your phone screen. If the LCD is damaged in anyway, the front glass screen must be replaced. To replace the screen follow the Huawei Honor 6x Front Display Panel Replacement Guide.
The Huawei Honor 6x Needs to be Rebooted
If the Huawei Honor 6x is stuck displaying the blue “Honor” startup screen, the phone needs to be rebooted. Power down the device completely. Hold down the power button and the top volume button at the same time. An option menu will appear on your device, be sure to select "Reboot System Now.” This will restart the device.

My honor 6x mobile oftenly get switch off and on automatically. This problem is persisting after 8 months of purchasing, what should I do?

I got same blue screen with honor logo, trying to reboot it as said in the msg. But same blue screen is coming. No option menu. Pls help in this regard. A lock down is going on here, not possible to find any technician

Yeah same, in my case there is blue screen & honor mark in the middle
In the honor mark there is a light passing through it & this light lassing is also lagging

my honor 6x won’t let a call ring in, it goes to voicemail I have been told. But when I go to missed calls nothing is there, nothing in voice mail either. T-mobile is trying to tell me it is just a 2g phone I looked it up they were wrong. They had me reset it but if it helped it did not last at all. Can anyone help?
