Chromebookの電源が入らない
Chromebookはフル充電されていますが、電源ボタンを押しても画面が点灯しません。
基本的な手順
困ったときは、トラブルシューティングの基本を忘れがちです。デバイスの本格的な修理を試みる前に、以下を確認してください。
- Chromebookの充電ケーブルが充電ポートに正しく差し込まれていることを確認してください。 バッテリーが切れていて充電を試みている場合は、充電器が充電ポートにしっかりと接続され、機能している電源に差し込まれていることを確認してください。適切に充電するには、充電器、Chromebook、電源の間に回路が完全につながっている必要があります。
- 充電器が差し込まれている電源が入っていることを確認してください。 機能していない電源は見落としがちです。問題がないか確認するため、別の電源にChromebookを差し込んでみてください。
- 充電ケーブルが損傷していないことを確認してください。 充電ケーブルに目に見える損傷やワイヤーのほつれがないか点検してください。損傷が見つかった場合は、別のケーブルの使用を検討するか、現在のケーブルの交換を検討してください。
- デバイスの充電表示ライトが正しく機能していることを確認してください。 電源に接続したときに、充電インジケーターのLEDが点灯するか、色が変化するかを確認して、Chromebookの充電状況を確認してください。
- Chromebookのハードリセットを試みてください。 電源ボタンを少なくとも10秒間長押しして、溜まっている電気を放電し、ソフトウェアの不具合を解消できるか確認してください。その後、Chromebookの電源を再度入れてみてください。
- 充電ポートがきれいであることを確認してください。 ほこりやゴミが充電ポートに溜まり、正しく接続できなくなることがあります。柔らかいブラシやエアダスターを使用して、充電ポートを優しく掃除してください。
- 画面の明るさを確認してください。 デバイスのキーボードライトが点灯している場合は、画面が点灯していないだけかもしれません。キーボードの上部にある、大きな歯車や太陽の形をしたキーを使用して、画面を明るくしてみてください。このボタンを数回押して、ディスプレイを明るくしようとしてください。それでもデバイスの画面が点灯しない場合は、画面が故障している可能性があります。タッチディスプレイ交換ガイドを参照してください。
- デバイスがスリープ状態になっていないか確認してください。 HP Chromebookが一定時間(Chromebookの設定で設定)非アクティブになると、デバイスはスリープモードに入ります。スリープモードから復帰するには、蓋を開けるか、いずれかのキーを押すか、タッチパッドを指でスワイプしてください。デバイスがオンにならない場合、スリープモードでスタックしている可能性があります。スリープモードでスタックしている場合は、強制シャットダウンを実行してください。電源ボタンを3秒間押し続けてデバイスを完全にオフにしてから、電源ボタンをもう一度押して再起動してください。
バッテリーの故障
デバイスを充電器に長時間接続していても電源が入らない場合は、充電されていないか、バッテリーが故障している可能性があります。充電できない場合は、以下の「Chromebookが充電しない」を参照してください。デバイスが充電されている場合(充電ポートの隣に白いライトが点灯していることで確認できます)、デバイスのバッテリーが故障している可能性があります。バッテリーを交換するには、バッテリー交換ガイドを参照してください。
画面の故障
Chromebook自体ではなく、ディスプレイが故障している場合があります。外部モニターに接続して、Chromebookが動作しているが何も表示されていないだけかどうかを確認してください。
オペレーティングシステムに関連する問題
ChromebookのChromeOSアップデート中に問題が発生し、オフになっているように見えたり、黒い画面が表示されたりすることがあります。これは、ソフトウェアからの起動指示が適切に行われていないためです。これを解決するには、こちらのガイドまたは以下の手順に従ってChromeOSを復元してください。
注意:ChromeOSのリカバリを実行すると、Chromebookに直接保存されているすべてのデータが消去されます。
- 別のデバイスを使用して、Chromebookリカバリユーティリティのウェブサイトにアクセスします。
- Chromebookリカバリユーティリティをインストールします。
- USBリカバリドライブを準備します。USBフラッシュドライブ(8GB以上)をコンピュータに接続し、Chromebookリカバリユーティリティを起動します。リストからChromebookモデルを選択し、続行をクリックします。ユーティリティは必要なリカバリイメージをフラッシュドライブにダウンロードします。
- ChromebookでChromeOSを復元します。USBドライブを対象のChromebookに挿入します。電源を切り、Escキーと更新 (F3)キーを押したまま、電源を押して復元を開始します。
- 画面の指示に従って、リカバリプロセスを完了します。Chromebookは、ChromeOSが新規インストールされた元の工場出荷時の設定に復元されます。
ChromeOSを復元しても問題が解決しない場合は、ハードウェアの問題である可能性があります。その場合は、次のセクションに進んでください。
マザーボードの損傷
前述のトラブルシューティング手順に従ってもChromebookが黒い画面を表示する場合は、マザーボードまたは周辺コンポーネントに問題がある可能性が高いです。
- 適切な空気の流れを確保するため、デバイス内部の蓄積したほこりやゴミを取り除きます。
- デバイスのCPUが適切に冷却されていることを確認してください。 最近ヒートシンクを再取り付けした場合は、ワイヤーがしっかりと接続されていること、およびサーマルグリスが適切に塗布されていることを再確認してください。
- CMOSバッテリーを取り外して再度取り付けることで、デバイスのBIOS設定をリセットしてください。これにより、潜在的な競合や設定ミスが解消されます。
- RAMモジュールが正しく取り付けられ、正常に機能していることを確認してください。 RAMモジュールが適切に装着されていない場合は、モジュールの再挿入または交換を試みてください。
- マザーボードに焼け焦げや損傷したコンポーネントの兆候がないか、詳細な目視点検を行ってください。 焼け焦げや物理的に損傷しているように見えるパーツなど、目に見える損傷がある場合は、マザーボードを交換する必要がある可能性が高いです。
Chromebookが充電しない
Chromebookはバッテリー残量が少ないことを示していますが、充電器を接続しても充電ポートの隣のライトが点灯しません。
基本的な手順
困ったときは、トラブルシューティングの基本を忘れがちです。デバイスの本格的な修理を始める前に、以下を確認してください。
- 電源接続を確認します。 Chromebookが付属の充電アダプターに正しく接続されていることを確認してください。充電ケーブルと機能している電源コンセントがデバイスにしっかりと差し込まれていることを確認します。
- 充電ケーブルとアダプターを点検します。 充電ケーブルとアダプターに目に見える損傷やワイヤーのほつれがないか点検してください。損傷している場合は、別の互換性のある充電ケーブルやアダプターを試してください。
- 別の電源コンセントを試してください。 コンセントが故障している場合があります。元の電源の問題を排除するために、別のコンセントにChromebookを差し込んでみてください。ランプなどの別のデバイスを差し込んで、コンセントが機能するかテストできます。壁のコンセントが機能しない場合は、電気修理ページを確認することを検討してください。
- 充電インジケーターを確認します。 Chromebookを差し込んだときに、充電インジケーターライト(存在する場合)が点灯するか、色が変化するかを観察してください。これはデバイスが電力を受けていることを意味します。

- Chromebookから充電器を取り外します。

バッテリーの故障または劣化
Chromebookが充電されない場合、バッテリーに問題がある可能性があります。以下の手順でバッテリーに関連する問題をトラブルシューティングしてください。
- バッテリーレベルを確認します。 Chromebookを少なくとも15分間接続し、充電インジケーターが点灯して充電中であることを示しているか確認します。点灯しない場合は、バッテリーが切れているか、故障している可能性があります。
- バッテリーをリセットします。 一部のChromebookには、デバイスの底面や側面に小さなピンホールリセットボタンがあります。ペーパークリップや同様のツールをピンホールに挿入し、優しく押してバッテリーをリセットします。
- バッテリーの状態を確認します。 残念ながら、バッテリーは永久には持ちません。Chromebookを数年使用している場合は、バッテリーが劣化している可能性が高いです。詳細についてはCROSHを使用してChromebookのバッテリー状態を確認するガイドを参照してください。手順は以下に概説されています。
- Chromebookのデスクトップから、Ctrl + Alt + Tを同時に押します。
- コマンド『battery_test [<テスト時間>]』を入力します。
- テスト時間は秒単位で測定されます。テスト時間が入力されない場合、デフォルトの300秒が使用されます。
- 特定のバッテリー状態はコマンドが入力されるとすぐに表示されますが、追加情報はテストが完了したときに表示されます。
- バッテリーを交換します。 上記の手順を試しても充電されない、または充電が保持されない場合は、交換が必要な場合があります。バッテリー交換ガイドを参照してバッテリーを交換してください。
充電ポートの故障
電源アダプターが充電ポートに奥まで差し込まれていることを確認してください。デバイスを正常に充電するには、電源アダプターを奥まで完全に挿入する必要があります。電源アダプターが完全に差し込まれている場合は、一度充電ポートから取り外してから、再度差し込んでください。充電ポートのインジケーターライトがオレンジ色または白色に点灯しているか確認します。
- デバイスの充電ポートを点検します。 充電プロセスを妨げる可能性のある物理的な損傷、ゴミ、曲がったピンがないか、Chromebookの充電ポートを検査してください。
- 充電ポートを掃除します。 充電ポートにゴミやほこりがある場合は、エアダスターや綿棒に90%の消毒用アルコールを含ませて、慎重に掃除してください。充電ケーブルとポートの間の接続を妨げる異物がないことを確認してください。
目に見える損傷があり、掃除しても効果がない場合は、充電ポートを含むドーターボードまたは充電ポート自体を交換できる可能性があります。
内部ハードウェアまたはソフトウェアの問題
Chromebookがまだ充電されない場合は、内部ハードウェアまたはソフトウェアの問題である可能性があります。
- GoogleのChromebookリカバリツールを使用してChromebookを復元します。 デバイスの充電器に問題がある場合、Chromebookのオペレーティングシステムの問題である可能性があります。その場合は、ChromeOSリカバリUSBを作成するガイドを参照してください。幸いなことに、このプロセスは簡単で、リカバリドライブの作成は5分もかかりません。ツールはChromeウェブストアからダウンロードできます。
注意:これはデバイスを工場出荷時のデフォルトに復元し、内部ストレージに保存されているすべてのファイルを削除します。保存したいファイルはGoogleドライブや外部ストレージデバイスにバックアップされていることを確認してください。
- マザーボードの詳細な目視点検を行います。 焼け焦げや損傷したコンポーネントの兆候がないか確認してください。目に見える損傷が確認された場合は、マザーボードを交換する必要があります。
Chromebookの画面がフリーズした
Chromebookの画面が黒いままか、特定のページや画像でスタックしています。
画面がフリーズ
起動時に黒い画面が表示されたり、システム使用中に画像やアプリケーションがフリーズしたりした場合は、デバイスのリセットを実行してください。リセットするには、電源ボタンを3秒間押します。デバイスがシャットダウンしたら、電源ボタンを押して再起動します。電源ボタンだけでデバイスがシャットダウンしない場合は、コンピュータを充電した状態で電源ボタンと更新ボタンを押したままにすると、強制再起動が実行されます。数秒後にデバイスがオフになり、再起動するはずです。
実行中のプログラムが多すぎる
特定のアプリケーションの使用中にデバイスの動作が遅い、またはフリーズする場合は、一度に実行されているプログラムが多すぎるか、アプリケーションがデバイス上の利用可能なすべてのRAMストレージを使い果たしている可能性があります。この問題を解決するには、特に大量のRAMストレージを必要とするアプリケーションを使用している場合は、一度に実行するアプリケーションを減らしてください。RAMストレージが問題である場合は、より大きな容量のRAMにアップグレードしてください。RAMを交換するには、マザーボード交換ガイドを参照してください。
Chromebookのオーバーヒート
電子デバイスは冷却を維持するように設計されています。Chromebookが触ると熱い、長時間暑い環境にあった、または勝手にシャットダウンする場合は、デバイスがオーバーヒートしている可能性があります。デバイスがオーバーヒートしていると、フリーズしたり勝手にシャットダウンしたりすることがあります。これを解決するには、デバイスをより涼しい環境に移動し、通気口にゴミが詰まっていないことを確認してください。通気口がほこりやゴミで塞がれていると、ヒートシンクが熱を逃がすことができません。ゴミを取り除き、通気口から空気が入り、逃げるようにしてください。涼しい環境でもデバイスがオーバーヒートし続ける場合は、ヒートシンクの交換が必要かもしれません。
Chromebookの音声が聞こえない
音量は上がっていますが、Chromebookから音声が出ません。
基本的な手順
複雑な修理手順に取り掛かる前に、修理プロセスを深める前に基本的なトラブルシューティング手順を試してください。
- 外部オーディオ接続がないか確認してください: デバイスの内蔵スピーカーを使用しようとしている場合は、デバイスに他のオーディオ接続が接続されていないことを確認してください。これには、ヘッドフォン、スピーカー、USBヘッドセットなどが含まれます。
- オーディオデバイスの電源が入っているか確認してください。 一部のスピーカーは、内蔵のヘッドフォンジャックから供給される以上の電力を必要とする場合があります。つまり、スピーカーを正常に機能させるには電源が必要です。差し込む必要があるスピーカーを使用している場合は、スピーカーの電源が入っているか、電源に接続されていることを確認してください。または、バッテリー駆動のBluetoothスピーカーを使用している場合は、スピーカーが充電されていることを確認してください。
- デバイスの音量とミュート設定を確認してください: 使用しているプログラムやウェブサイトがミュートになっていないか、または音量が低く設定されていないことを確認してください。また、Chromebookの音量が上がっており、ミュートになっていないことも確認してください。システムトレイで音量アイコンを探し、音量レベルを調整し、ミュートオプションが有効になっていないことを確認してください。
Bluetoothまたはその他のオーディオが切断されていない
頻繁にChromebookを外部スピーカーに接続している場合、Chromebookとスピーカーの接続方法や、スピーカー自体に問題がある可能性があります。
- デバイスの音声出力設定を確認します。 時間が表示されているタスクバーをクリックし、オーディオのスライダーの横にある左向き矢印をクリックしてオーディオ設定メニューを表示することで、デバイスが正しい音声出力を使用しているか確認できます。そこに、デバイスで使用可能なオーディオ出力セクションが表示されます。そこで、正しい音声出力が選択されていることを確認してください。
- Bluetoothデバイスを通してまだ音声が聞こえるか確認します。 Bluetoothデバイスを通して音声が聞こえる場合は、Bluetoothデバイスをオフにし、ChromebookからBluetoothデバイスの接続を解除してください。
- Bluetoothスピーカーまたはヘッドフォンを再ペアリングします。 Bluetoothヘッドフォンやスピーカーを使用している場合は、ペアリングを試みることができます。タスクバーをクリックし、Bluetoothアイコンを切り替えることで、デバイスのBluetooth設定を確認できます。Bluetoothアイコンの下にある「Bluetooth」という単語をクリックしてペアリング準備ができているBluetoothデバイスのリストを取得し、Bluetoothデバイスを選択してください。
アプリケーションまたはウェブサイトの故障
一部のウェブサイトやプログラムには専用のオーディオコントロールがあり、ユーザーはアプリケーションから出力される音声を変更できます。
- プログラムの音量が上がっていることを確認してください。 アプリケーションの音声を調整できる設定を探してください。
- タブがミュートになっていないか確認してください。 Chromeでは、タブを開いたウェブページから出る音をミュートにできます。タブがミュートになっている場合、そのタブから音は再生されません。タブ内に表示されているスピーカーアイコンをクリックすると、タブのミュートを解除できます。
- 別のアプリケーションで問題が続くか確認してください。 別のアプリケーションで音量が機能する場合は、そのアプリケーションを再起動してみてください。それでも機能しない場合は、アプリケーションを更新または修復する必要があるかもしれません。
- ブラウザのキャッシュデータをクリアします。 Chromeブラウザを開き、右上隅にある3点メニューアイコンをクリックしてから、設定 > プライバシーとセキュリティ > 閲覧履歴データの削除に進みます。
オーディオデバイス設定
設定で間違ったデバイスが選択されていると、音声が聞こえないことがあります。オーディオ出力デバイスを変更するには、以下の手順を実行してください:
- ステータストレイをクリックします
- 音量スライダーの横にあるアイコン(ヘッドホンやBluetoothなど)をクリックします
- 「スピーカー (internal)」を選択します
デバイスを選択した後、音量の再調整が必要になる場合があります。
オペレーティングシステムが原因の問題
ChromeOSに問題が発生しており、それが音声の問題を引き起こしている可能性があります。
- Chromebookのオペレーティングシステムが最新であることを確認してください。 設定 > Chrome OSについて > 更新を確認に進みます。利用可能な更新をインストールしてください。
- オペレーティングシステムを復元します。 デバイスを更新してもChromebookの音が復元されない場合は、リカバリUSBの使用を試みることができます。こちらのガイドの手順を使用してリカバリUSBを作成できます こちら。これにより、デバイスが工場出荷時の状態にリセットされ、デバイスの内部ストレージ上のデータがすべてワイプされます。必ずデバイス上のデータを外部USBストレージデバイスまたはGoogleドライブに移動してください。
スピーカーの故障
上記の手順でもうまくいかない場合は、スピーカーの交換が必要な場合があります。Chromebookのスピーカーを交換するには、スピーカー交換ガイドを参照してください。内部を開けたら、以下を確認してください。
- スピーカーの動きを制限するゴミや液体による損傷を取り除きます。 ノートパソコンのスピーカーは、薄いダイアフラムを振動させて周囲の空気を乱すことで音を生成します。このダイアフラムの動きが制限されると、音が出ません。
- 内蔵スピーカーがロジックボードに正しく接続されていることを確認します。 スピーカーからロジックボードへの接続をたどってください。この接続が正しく装着されていない場合、スピーカーから音は出ません。
- スピーカーが機能しなくなるような目に見える損傷がないか探します。 スピーカーが損傷している場合、スピーカーを交換する必要がある可能性が高いです。
- マザーボードに焼け焦げや損傷したコンポーネントの兆候がないか、詳細な目視点検を行います。 焼け焦げや物理的に損傷しているように見えるパーツなど、目に見える損傷がある場合は、マザーボードを交換する必要がある可能性が高いです。
Chromebookのタッチパッドが動作しない
Chromebookの使用中に、カーソルが消えるか、タッチパッドをスワイプしても反応しません。
タッチパッドの汚れ
Chromebookを長時間開いたままにしたり、ほこりっぽい場所に放置したりすると、タッチパッドに膜が張ることがあります。タッチパッドを使用しようとしたときに、汚れのために動きを認識しないことがあります。これを解決するには、エアダスターを使用してゴミを優しく吹き飛ばしてください。乾いたタオルや布でゴミを拭き取ることもできますが、タッチパッドの横の隙間にゴミを押し込まないように注意してください。
Chromebookの遅延
複数のプログラムが同時に実行されていると、コンピュータが遅延し始めます。プロセッサの動作が重くなり、カーソルの速度が低下します。遅延しているコンピュータでは、他のコマンドやキーも影響を受ける可能性があります。その場合は、実行中のプログラムをいくつか閉じ、Chromebookを数分間休ませてください。コンピュータのカーソルがまだ遅延している場合は、開いているすべてのプログラムを閉じて、デバイスを再起動してください。コンピュータが再起動した後、カーソルが正しく機能するはずです。
カーソルの速度低下
カーソルの速度はデバイスの設定から調整できます。これにより、カーソルが勝手に動いたり、タッチパッドをスワイプしても完全にフリーズしたりすることがあります。カーソルの速度は、「設定」>「デバイス」>「タッチパッド」>「カーソルの速度」からアクセスできます。
外部マウスが切断されない
外部マウスが接続されていると、デバイスがタッチパッドの機能をオフにする可能性があります。マウスがUSB経由で接続されている場合は、USBを取り外してください。マウスがBluetooth経由で接続されている場合は、マウスの電源を切るか、ステータストレイでBluetoothをオフにしてください。外部デバイスがChromebookから取り外されるか切断されると、タッチパッドは通常機能するはずです。
カーソルが表示されない
カーソルを再表示するには、タッチパッドをスワイプしてください。それでもカーソルが表示されない場合は、外部マウスの接続を試みてください。外部マウスを使用してカーソルが表示される場合は、タッチパッドが故障している可能性があります。外部マウスでも表示されない場合は、電源ボタンを3秒間押し続けて、Chromebookの強制シャットダウンを実行してください。
タッチパッドの故障
カーソルが反応しない、または画面上の場所でフリーズしている場合は、電源ボタンを3秒間押し続けて強制シャットダウンを実行してください。コンピュータがシャットダウンしたら、再度コンピュータをオンにします。もう一度タッチパッドを試して、それでも動作しない場合は、キーボードが反応するか確認してください。キーボードが動作し、タッチパッドがまだ反応しない場合は、タッチパッドが故障しており、交換が必要な場合があります。
Chromebookの画面に線が入る
基本的な手順
困ったときは、トラブルシューティングの基本を忘れがちです。デバイスの本格的な修理を試みる前に、以下を確認してください。
- Chromebookを再起動します。 デバイスを再起動すると、一時的な不具合が修正されたり、問題を引き起こす可能性がある一時ファイルがクリアされたりすることがあります。画面の右下隅にある時計をクリックして再起動オプションを選択するか、Ctrl、Shift、更新キーを同時に押すことで、Chromebookを再起動できます。
- Chromebookの画面位置を調整します。 Chromebookの画面位置を優しく調整することで、接続の緩みやズレが原因かどうかを確認できます。線が変化したり消えたりする場合、接続が原因の問題である可能性が高いです。
上記の手順の後も画面の線が消えない場合は、外部ディスプレイをデバイスに接続してください。外部ディスプレイに線が表示される場合、オペレーティングシステムやデバイスの設定の問題である可能性があります。
線が表示されない場合は、Chromebookのディスプレイが損傷している可能性があります。
オペレーティングシステムが原因の問題
ChromeOSに問題が発生しており、画面上のコンテンツの表示方法に影響を与えている可能性があります。Chromebookで更新が利用可能かどうかを確認する必要があります。以下の手順で、デバイスで実行されているChromeOSのバージョンを確認できます。
- 画面の右下隅にある時計をクリックします。
- 歯車アイコンを選択して設定メニューを開きます。
- 下にスクロールしてChrome OSについてをクリックします。
- 更新を確認をクリックし、更新が利用可能な場合はシステムを更新させます。
- Chromebookを再起動し、画面の線が消えるか確認します。
ディスプレイ設定が原因の問題
If your display settings have been adjusted recently, this could cause an issue with lines appearing on your screen. Adjust each of the settings below, and see if the lines on your screen change.
- Brightness: Adjust the display's brightness to see if it affects the appearance of the lines. Sometimes, extreme brightness settings might reveal or hide certain visual artifacts.
- Screen Resolution: Experiment with different screen resolutions to see if the lines are affected. Lower resolutions might result in a less detailed display, but it can help isolate potential issues.
- Color Settings: Some display issues might be related to color calibration or settings. You can try adjusting color temperature, contrast, and saturation to see if it makes any difference.
- Display Orientation: On some Chromebooks, you can change the display orientation (landscape, portrait) in the settings. Changing the orientation might help identify if the lines are specific to a particular orientation.
- Night Light or Blue Light Filter: If your Chromebook has a night light or blue light filter feature, try enabling or disabling it to see if it affects the appearance of the lines.
You can also Powerwash your device or use a ChromeOS Recovery USB Drive to factory reset your device.
Note: This will wipe any data stored on the Chromebook and will factory reset the device. Be sure to back up any data that you want to keep onto an external storage device, or to Google Drive.
ディスプレイの物理的な損傷
If any of the above tricks cannot resolve the issue with your Chromebook, then there is a good likelihood that your screen or other component might be physically damaged. Try these simple steps to resolve the issue.
- Inspect your display for any physical damage. This will include any large or tiny fractures in the display. If the screen is damaged, the best solution is to replace it.
- Perform a visual inspection of the display cable. If there is no visible damage to the screen, or if replacing the LCD panel has not resolved the issue, then conduct a thorough examination of the display cable and its connections. Check both the end of the display and the point where the display cable connects to the Motherboard. Look for any signs of damage, such as burns or indications of liquid damage.
If your Chromebook still has lines on the display, continue to the last section.
マザーボードの損傷
If your device still shows lines on the display, then there is most likely an issue with your device's Motherboard.
- Reset your device's BIOS Settings. To reset your Motherboard's BIOS settings, you can try uninstalling and then reinstalling the CMOS battery. By doing so, any stored settings or configurations that may have become corrupted will be cleared, and the system will start with default settings. This helps eliminate potential conflicts or misconfigurations that could be causing the issue you're experiencing.

- Install the Chromebook Recovery Utility Extension: Open Google Chrome and install the Chromebook Recovery Utility Extension from the Chrome Web Store. Click on the extension and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Prepare Chromebook for Recovery: Turn off your Chromebook and ensure it's connected to a power source. Press the Esc + Refresh (F3) keys simultaneously, then press the Power button. Release the Power button when the Chromebook starts, but continue holding Esc+ Refresh until you see a screen prompting you to insert the recovery disk.
