Background and Identification
The Samsung 930, also known by the longer name “Samsung SyncMaster 930B,” is a 19-inch LCD monitor released in 2005. It has a resolution of 1280x1024 pixels and a refresh rate that can vary from 56 Hz up to a maximum of 75 Hz. It is a plain monitor, with a case made from black plastic, and a silver Samsung logo beneath the screen. On the bottom edge of the case it has six buttons to power the monitor on/off, bring up the on-screen menu, and change the brightness.
The monitor has inputs for both analog and digital video. Analog signals are handled by a VGA port, while the digital signals are carried over DVI. Besides these inputs, the back of the monitor has mounting holes for a VESA adapter should you want to attach the device to a 3rd-party arm.
You can identify this monitor by looking for a model number starting with “930xxx” printed on a sticker on the device. Usually this informational sticker is located on the back of the monitor as shown in this Samsung support article.
