Diagnose hardware problems using the PalmOne Zire 72 troubleshooting guide.
Identification and Background
The PalmOne Zire 72 was introduced in 2004 as the successor to Palm's first PDA, the Zire 71. The Zire 72 has 24 MB of storage as opposed to the Zire 71's 13 MB, as well as an added video taking capability, an improvement from .3 to 1.2 megapixels for the camera quality, Bluetooth capability, and a 312 MHz processor. The Zire 72 has a touch screen and a 5-way navigation button.
The PalmOne Zire 72 is easily distinguishable from the Zire 71; whereas the 71 can be slid open to reveal its camera, the 72 has its camera attached directly in back. The 72 also has its name, "Zire 72," printed across the top of the device.
