Background
The Nikon Coolpix S5300 was announced in January 2014, following its predecessor, the Nikon Coolpix S5200. The Nikon S5300 is a camera with 8X optical zoom and 16X dynamic fine zoom, allowing customers to capture better image quality than its predecessors. With the ability to take Full HD video in 1080p with stereo surround, the S5300 is very versatile in usage.
Identification
The Nikon Coolpix S5300 is available in three colors pink, plum, and black. The casing has rounded edges, measures 3.9in x 2.3in x 0.9in. The display screen is 3 inches diagonally, with all the buttons on the left side of the camera.
To identify your Coolpix S5300, look for the model and serial numbers on the bottom of your camera near the camera mount.
