Identification and Background
The Mitsubishi WD-57734 DLP HDTV is a part of Mitsubishi's 734 series of televisions. This series of televisions was released in 2007 alongside the 733 series and the 833 series with the 733 series offering less features and being less expensive and the 833 series (known as Diamond models) offering more features and being more expensive.
The 734 series of televisions offer the 6-Color light Engine, x.v.Color, PerfectColor, Dark Detailer, PerfecTint, DeepField Imager, SharpEdge, front HDMI input, NetCommand, three HDMI 1.3 inputs, front component input and have a resolution of 1080p. The 734 series of televisions have the presence of a brushed black metallic accent which can be used to differentiate it from the 733 series of televisions.
The size of the televisions can be used to identify its model number as the WD-57734 is the 57-inch model, the WD-65734 is the 65-inch model, and the WD-73734 is the 73-inch model. On the back side of the television is a label that lists the model number and serial number of the television.
