Background Information
Lamborghini is a brand of luxury Italian sports cars and SUVs based out of Sant'Agata Bolognese. Starting in 1916, Lamborghini originally produced tractors but started producing their iconic cars in 1993 to directly compete with the Ferrari company.
Due to plummeting sales in 1973, the firm has since changed ownership three different times. Currently, Lamborghini is owned by the Volkswagen Group where it was placed under the control of the group's Audi division.
