Background Information and Identification
The LG Chocolate VX8500 was a slider cellular phone released in 2006 exclusively to Verizon Wireless in the US.
This phone was the first of many in the LG Chocolate series of handsets. It's characterized by its rectangular shape and glossy finish in a slew of colors including: Dark Chocolate (black), Mint Chocolate (light green), White Chocolate (white), Strawberry Chocolate (pink), and Cherry Chocolate (red).
The Chocolate was especially notable because it was a combination MP3 player and cellular phone. It had distinctive light up front touch buttons. This phone also included Bluetooth, a 1 megapixel camera, and a memory card slot.
