Background and Identification
The Freeway is Jabra’s Premier Bluetooth in-car speakerphone. This device is primarily focused around customers that do not have a bluetooth equipped vehicle. The Freeway contains 3 speakers to create a virtual surround sound experience, allowing clear sound while using the device. The device allows music playback, call control, and voice control features for dialing and answering phone calls. The device is able to conserve battery by use of a motion detector to automatically power on and off, giving the device an incredible 40 days of standby time.
Identification of this device is easily accomplished by the manufacturer’s sticker on the rear of the device that reads “Jabra Freeway”. Alternatively, the device is distinguishable from the Jabra Cruiser2 by the location of the volume controls. On the Freeway, the volume controls are at the bottom of the front face of the device, while the volume controls on the Jabra Cruiser2 are located at the top of the front face of the device.
