Background and Identification
The Huawei Honor 6x is the sixth smartphone in the Honor X series. It was released October 2016 featuring Huawei’s first dual 12MP rear facing cameras. As of October 2018, the operating system is upgradable from Android 6: Marshmallow to Android: 8 Oreo. This mid-range phone boasts an affordable price compared to major competitors. Three models were released in 2016—BLN-L21, BLN-L22, and the BLN-L24. The model used for the device's corresponding troubleshooting page and device pages is the BLN-L24.
The phone has a single microUSB charging port located at the bottom of the device, and is equipped with an auxiliary headphone jack found on the top of the phone. The phone lacks an NFC (Near-Field Connection)—meaning there are no smart pay features integrated into this device. Battery life is up to two days and operates on a 3340 mAh battery. Storage on the device comes in two options: 32GB with 3GB RAM or 64GB with 4GB RAM.
