Background and Identification
The HMDX Chill speaker is a compact, portable speaker built by the HMDX company. Physically, the HMDX Chill is a cylinder measuring 3.17 inches tall and 3.27 inches wide. The speaker is a solid color, either black, silver, blue, or red. other colors may be available. The HMDX Chill also has three buttons at its base. the middle button controls the play and pause function. the buttons on either side of the middle button control the volume. The battery is a lithium-ion battery that can be charged through the micro USB port on the lower back portion of the speaker. The HMDX Chill can also be used as a speakerphone if it is connected to a cellphone.
The HMDX Chill has bluetooth capabilities. The HMDX Chill can connect wirelessly to other devices that also have bluetooth capabilities. The bluetooth connection can be utilized from a distance of up to 30 feet. The HMDX Chill can also be connected to another device by the audio cable jack on the lower back portion of the device (audio cable not included with purchase). A similar device also made by HMDX is the HMDX Jam. it is almost the exact same as the HMDX Chill, except that the HMDX Jam has a silver colored circle on the speaker cover that will have "JAM" written on it.
