Background
The A3i amplifier was developed in 1996 by Cambridge Audio. The amplifier was designed and engineered in London, England. This device outputs 60 watts per channel, which is an intermediate strength amplifier. It was developed as a budget device, but it is not necessarily a low quality amplifier. Reviews are generally positive. The internals are well organized and most repairs can be done with a basic set of tools and a soldering iron.
Identification
This amplifier is now discontinued. When it was in production it was part of the A-series, which has now been replaced by their popular Azur series. It can be identified on the rear panel near the power cord. The amplifier is powered by 220V. This can be seen by the large plug on the power cord.
