Background and Identification
This LED light is sold under various brand names, but in fact, is a no-name brand and comes with no distinct markings on the packaging. Bicycle lighting is illumination attached to a bicycle that is designed to improve the visibility of the bicycle and its rider. Bicycle lighting and reflectors help other road users see riders under poor ambient lighting. Many bicycle lights are designed to illuminate reflective materials such as traffic signs. Some bicycle lights with more luminous flux and power can help to illuminate the roadway so the rider can see ahead of them.
Many jurisdictions require at least one bicycle light fitted to the bicycle if it is to be ridden at night. Typically, these required lights include a white light at the front of the bicycle and a red light at the back, like with cars and other vehicles.
Most LED bicycle lights include either steady or flashing modes. Some LED bicycle lights include multiple LED banks that allow the light to produce steady light and flashing light at once. In some countries, such as the Netherlands and Germany, flashing lights are forbidden on bicycles by law. In many other countries, LED flashing lights are very common for rear bicycle lights.
