We at iFixit are a hardware and components repair group and not as much for software or firmware issues nor forgotten passwords. I'd recommend you looking at other places for software related issues.
Otherwise they are probably better equipped to point your in the right direction.
But some quick tips:
- If this is a normal application. Long-press the icon, select 'App Info' (may be called by other names), then select 'Uninstall'.
- If this is related to a carrier-lock, or other type of subscription-lock, then the best option is to go through their support, and potentially pay the remaining balance.
- Contact the applications technical or customer support.
