Lenovo IdeaPad Connection problems

Does the WiFi detect the network but not connect to it or not detect the network at all?

Try using the laptop as close as possible to your home network router i.e. <15cm and check if it detects, connects and maintains a stable connection.

If it does it could be a loose/faulty antenna connection on the WiFi card inthe laptop.

It shows how to access the card so you can check if the 2 antennas are securely connected to the card.
