Qualcomm CrashDump after drop? Fixable?

Some backstory to my old phone: Bought it 7 years ago, dropped it here and there without any major issues. About 6-12 months ago it started with things like Volume buttons barely working (needing to press really hard), back cover lifting up (small gap between frame and cover), when dropped the SIM is sometimes not detected and very very rarely just a random restart.

Last night it fell down again while sleeping (this is important since I don't know exactly how long between the fall and me picking it up passed) and after picking it up I got greeted with a

Qualcomm CrashDump Mode

I haven't started any update and unless it somehow suddenly did it on its own it should not be caused by this but rather by a hardware failure (I still hope it's software though). When restarting it in the morning the first time I was able to get past the "Unlocked bootloader" screen (I don't have a custom ROM installed anymore) and into the boot animation which froze after ~10s. Restarts after that either turn to black screen after the "Unlocked..." screen or sometimes I just get a single line of "Qualcomm CrashDump Mode" without any further information.

"Heat-treating" the motherboard in the sun results in the phone not starting at all. Putting it in the fridge fixes that again but the CrashDump remains. A temporary boot with twrp doesnt help - on either slot A or B.

I am afraid it is a hardware issue, don't know where though. I tried applying pressure during boot on both the CPU & RAM area without success - in case it is a loose pin.

Do you know what could be the most likely cause and how to fix this? Can simple reflow/reballing help? While I have the majority of my photos on my PC I would still like access to the rest.
