@judystapleton use the 2008 2011 Ford Fiesta Starting Circuit Chapter It will tell you all about your starting system, how to check it and it will tell you on page 39 how to replace the starter. You can download the complete WM from this page 2008-2017 Ford Fiesta under the Documents header.
