How does HP get away with this crap?

HP has had issues across all of its laptop platforms from hinges to keyboards to USB ports etc. They continue to put out computers with inferior hinges that are documented to break in a very short period of time. Every class action lawsuit that is brought against them gets dismissed. Thanks to Ifixit, I have continued to keep my HP envy 360 functioning until the next failure. Why do people keep buying these laptops?
