My touchbar stopped working
my 2022 m2 13 inch macbook pro touchbar lights up but doesnt respond. all keys work, esc and touch id work, only thing is touchbar not responding but responding to screen (safari, imessage, etc)

Sadly, the issue is likely a damaged display from a bang. The easiest way is to replace the upper case assembly, but that's quite costly while it's possible to find the TouchBar part it's a bear to take off the broken one to replace. This part is starting to become hard to find. The last option is to try to locate a junker which still has a good uppercase to swap-out or just live without the it using an external keyboard to gain access to the inputs it offered.

i didnt get it wet, it also isnt dirty. it hasnt work for a year
