Mouse is not charging

For some reason, the white LED is turned on (constant), but the mouse won't charge. I think there is a hardware problem with the pad, I'm not sure what the cause is thats not allowing my mouse to charge. I wonder if its the wire connection connection going to the coil that may have messed up. I've had this for over 2 years now, and it stopped charging all of a sudden.
