It would help if we could see the kind of lines you see on your phone, but chances are high that the screen is damaged and will need to be replaced; I don't know of any cases where lines on a phone got fixed without a new screen. Of course it can't hurt to try to restart the phone and possibly even do a factory reset (after backing up your data first), but I have little hope that will help.
