How to fix a cracked screen

Ifixit doesn't have a guide for this, but screen replacements are pretty similar across different models/brands of laptops.

You will need to remove the LCD from the screen panel. To do so, gently heat the edges of the screen. Next, run a thin wedge, fingernail, or craft knife along the edge of the screen to pop the clips. You will now have exposed the LCD panel. Remove any screws and clip connectors, and then swap out the old screen. Repete the steps in reverse order. You may need to add a few drops of glue to hold the glass cover in place if the origional clips broke during disassembly.
