Does Face ID work if I replace the front camera?
Facing front camera sensor issue. Needs replacing. Does the Face ID work if I replace it with the ones they provide? Running iOS26.

The new front cam will work for pictures and video, but the face id will not work until the part is calibrated. You can use the Apple's repair assistant https://support.apple.com/en-us/120579

Note that the replacement camera MUST be a genuine Apple part; the Repair Assistant will not work with an aftermarket part. It can be new or used, as long as the phone it came from hasn't been reported lost or stolen.
