Why is there no suction

The fact that it stopped working right after cleaning the canister could hint at something that happened during the process. I imagine you have done it several times and are very familiar with all the pieces that have to go back inside the vacuum after a cleaning but do you notice any gaskets / seals / rubber rings or parts that help create suction missing from the canister or around the canister area? Something that could have accidentally detached / unglued / snapped while emptying the canister?

Alternatively, do you notice anything that might have gotten stuck where all the parts along the vacuum snap / click together? Or any damaged / cracked plastic that allows air to enter the system at a place where it shouldn't?
