Here’s the quick fix checklist I give friends when their PC is running slow:
– Uninstall junk you don’t use
– Disable startup apps (Task Manager > Startup tab)
– Run Disk Cleanup
– Check for malware (Malwarebytes is free)
– Update your drivers
– Restart your PC. Like actually restart, not just sleep mode.
Bonus: Upgrade to an SSD if you haven’t already. It’s a game-changer.
