Why printer not picking the paper

@awaismaria we will need to know which light it is that is blinking. It is possible that this is a stuck jam sensor or an issue with either the paper-delivery sensor or the top-of-page sensor. For now use the service manual for your printer model that you can now find under the Documents Tab on this page LaserJet 1012

While you work on your printer, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit.
