Problem with circuit board

Hello everyone,

My C2 is not working anymore. I opened it up and I think the soldering joint is corroded. I am not an expert. I have never worked with circuit boards so I am not sure if that's the case. I attach pictures of it. If it is the soldering joints. How hard would it be to fix it myself?

@giuliozh, Try to use isopropyl alcohol and a toothbrush to clean up the corrosion on the legs of those two components. If the problem persists you may need to solder on new components.

same as @honakrisi suggested, but try white vinegar, as another option

@honakrisi I cleaned it with a qtip and some alcohol and it's still doesn't work :( Added a pic on the post. Not sure if it's visible enough

If cleaning with alcohol didn’t solve it, then the problem is most likely the rubber contact itself rather than the PCB. These conductive rubber pads can wear out over time and stop conducting properly.

The usual fix is to replace the rubber contact strip for that section of keys. They are sold as spare parts for many digital pianos, including Korg. Sometimes you can swap the strip with another section of the keyboard temporarily to confirm that the problem follows the strip, not the board.

If swapping proves it’s the rubber pad, replacing the strip is the permanent solution. It’s a straightforward job: just order the correct replacement and install it in place of the old one. No soldering required.

Yes, I saw a video about it and I tested it out before posting here. I swapped a rubber strip from a higher octave that works and it didn't work.
