All vehicles have a oil dip stick. Find it. Check the level when cold. Keep the oil level at max level for best performance and longevity. Google your car to find it.

@abelsebolao the Mercedes Benz W203 engines do not have a oil dipstick.

Here are the steps from the owners manual to check the oil level. The engine must be warm, car parked on a level, wait 5min after you turn the engine off.

Insert the key and turn the ignition to position one (the first click).

  1. Navigate to the odometer display:
    1. Use the buttons on the steering wheel to scroll through the menu options until you see the odometer reading.
  2. Access the service menu:
    1. Press the reset button (usually located on the instrument cluster) three times to access the service menu.
  3. Select "Engine Oil Level":
    1. Use the up/down arrow buttons to scroll through the service menu options until you find "Engine Oil Level".
  4. Switch to position two (the second click) and wait.
    1. The system will measure the oil level and display it on the instrument cluster.
  5. Interpret the reading:
    1. The system will indicate whether the oil level is okay, low, or needs to be topped up.
  6. Something like this video will help you out as well.

No dip stick!!! What on earth do Mercedes-Benz engineers have against checking the engine oil the old fashion way? I will stick (play on words) with Japanese made autos. Tops in the field.
