Power button either stuck or shorted?

Hi! My Nokia G42 5G started randomly "pressing its own power button", which leads to unprompted reboots, or Gemini opening, or the camera opening. I have set all the gesture shortcuts to the bare minimum to avoid these events, but its random shut downs and restarts are unavoidable. It doesn't happen constanty.
I have previously owned a Nokia X10, which developed the same issue after a nasty fall. This time I have no reason to suspect physical damage.

Has anyone had this issue and did they fix it with a factory reset? I'd like to check before performing one.
