Battery PCB solder pad missing

iPod nano 7th generation Battery PCB solder pad missing

hi, I’m trying to fix three iPods nano 7th generation. I damaged their charging pods in some of them. I don’t know what do I need to do, I’m good at soldering and have a microscope but don’t know what are the next steps. Any help will be highly appreciated it, please take a look at the pictures, it shows the three ipods being affected. Thanks in advance.

@fcanavarro76 start with the second one. You can simply use something like a scalpel or similar instrument and remove the solder mask of the trace pointed to by the red arrow. Just be careful that you do not cut through the copper underneath since you will need that to solder to :-)

Next, use a thin piece of wire and solder that on that trace and the other end to the contact that would connect to that missing solder pads. We can't see under the flex cable to see if that trace may end up in an area, that may give you more "meat" to solder to. Rebuilding solder pads will take practice so does soldering jumpers to traces. If unsure, practice on some old boards first.

got you. I appreciate your answer. Do you know the material or how that wire is called and if there is like an adhesive to put on top of it or cover it, and how it is called? I thought it was a blue substance. Anyway, I really appreciate your answer. swill first try to practice on one. Have a blessed day!

@fcanavarro76 I use strands from an old display cable but you can use any kind of copper wire as long as it is thin enough. Never thicker then the trace you are soldering it to.The blue substance you might be thinking of might be UV solder masking.
