The A1494 battery is used in the A1398 Late 2013-2014 system MacBook Pro 15" Retina (Late 2013-Mid 2014) Battery
Your system requires the A1618 battery MacBook Pro 15" Retina (Mid 2015) Battery
They are physically different in there size, your system needs the smaller battery.
