PSP 1001 Right Trigger Unresponsive

Interesting! I'm a little indimitated at how many parts seem to be in the console but I'll see if I can give that a shot. I'm guessing it's more or less you unscrew the whole thing and simply replace that part you order for it?

Hi Alex! Yes that is correct. You need to take the front cover off, then the home button, volume buttons, etc bar, be careful to take it out the connector, all of them are very fragile. And then remove the LCD (it's still connected to the motherboard, so again, be careful). Then take the right board out. Follow this guide: PSP-1000のマザーボードの置き換え方法 (till step 16) and then put the new part in and reassemble it again. Good luck and be careful!

I replaced the cable on my own psp 1000. All the buttons work with the new cable except for the right trigger (the one I was trying to fix). Any ideas an what to do?
