How to replace lens assembly?
The lens cover flanges are stuck. The camera was sent out to repair place in Phoenix but returned without repair. I purchased a used lens assembly and need instructions on how to replace it.

If you don't get a better answer here's the parts list that may help as it has exploded diagrams how the parts are arranged in the camera.
Here's the ifixit Nikon Coolpix S8000 LCD Display Replacement guide as well, that may help you to get started with the disassembly
